LISA CHARTIER



A serial intrapreneur and inventive business strategist, Lisa Chartier began her career in consumer MarComm agencies, and began applying her skillset to the field of HR Marketing in 2007. She is currently the global Head of Employer Brand & Recruitment Marketing at Philips. In this role, she and her team enable Philips leadership in the Health Technology industry by applying innovative consumer brand and digital marketing solutions to talent attraction challenges on a global scale.  Lisa joined Philips in January 2012 to launch the company’s first in-house employer brand team in North America. Since then, she has expanded that team and capability globally, delivering significant value for Philips in 17+ markets around the world and winning industry awards in all regions including 2 gold medals at the 2018 EBMA awards in EMEA, recipient of the first ever employer brand creativity award in China and an honorable mention in the 2017 North America SABRE awards.

Prior to joining Philips, Lisa created and implemented a variety of employer brand strategies and recruitment marketing programs for brands like AstraZeneca, Verizon, Cigna Healthcare and Sun Life Financial at TMP Worldwide Advertising & Communications. She then moved to Alexander Mann Solutions where she launched the first ever Resourcing Communications business in the Americas, and led the development of employer brand strategies for a portfolio of clients including Rolls Royce, Deutsche Bank and Nike.

To further advance the disciplines of employer branding, experience design and strength-based leadership on a global scale, Mrs. Chartier regularly undertakes thought leadership, advisory board and consulting engagements. To date her work has been featured nationally and internationally by various content outlets, including Forbes, Corporate Executive Board (CEB), Omobono, LinkedIn, Glassdoor.com, Human Capital Institute (HCI),  Career Arc Group, and most recently on LinkHuman’s employer branding podcast.

Lisa has lived and worked in multiple North America and European locations and enjoys gaining life inspiration through travel, running road races in new countries, and embracing the joys and challenges of motherhood every day. Lisa graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami (Florida) with a Bachelor’s of Science in Communications degree, and completed Harvard Business School’s “Breakthrough Leadership” program in 2013.
