Ms. Atherton is a global human resources executive leader and strategic business partner with experience in the high-tech, marketing, retail, and healthcare industries with a passion for connecting people and hiring top talent.  She has a successful track record of driving cost-effective, innovative sourcing and recruitment strategies aligned with business needs in highly competitive environments. Respected as a results-oriented, high energy, inclusive leader with deep experience building and leading diverse, collaborative and high-performing global professional recruiting teams operating in fast paced, complex, changing environments 

As Senior Director of Talent Acquisition at The Trade Desk, Dana is a strategic business partner and talent advisor to the CTO and senior technology leadership. Dana is responsible for creating and executing talent strategies to address gaps and aligning needs with business objectives. 

Combining an astute understanding of global recruitment with a deep understanding of the business and the external talent marketplace, Dana takes a high-touch, consultative approach to partner with senior leadership to translate business plans into clear business-focused talent strategies.

Dana graduated from University of California, Irvine, with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.  She is a member of the National Human Resources Association (NHRA), OC HR Executive and Leadership Roundtable, and the Talent Board of CEO Leadership Alliance of Orange County.
