Emily Fritz is an Employer Brand Strategist and Engagement Manager for exaqueo, with nearly a decade of in-house, talent acquisition, social media, marketing and employee communications experience. Most recently she led the social media team at Cvent, a high growth event management company in Washington, D.C. There, she developed and executed the company’s social media strategy as well as led internal and external communication strategies during Cvent’s $1.65B acquisition and merger integration.

Prior to Cvent, Emily held several human resources, employer brand and digital roles at the global government contracting firm Northrop Grumman. She led the corporate team implementing an enterprise social recruiting strategy in support of a newly launched employer brand. As a result of Emily’s social media work, Northrop Grumman was recognized as the top performing U.S. company using social media for recruitment. Prior to her social recruiting journey, Emily championed successful campus recruiting programs, and established communications that increased the company’s awareness and engagement with targeted candidate audiences.

Emily brings a unique perspective from her experience on both the employer brand and consumer brand sides of the house. She understands the joint value and purpose both brands have as well as the immense opportunity to the brands that comes from partnering marketing, HR, and communications together. Though she is a practiced expert in social and digital, she maintains a passionate belief in the power of face-to-face connections and in-person relationship building.

A history graduate from the College of William and Mary, Emily has a deep love for storytelling and being outdoors. She lives and works in Richmond, VA with her husband and two miniature poodles.
